Just testing the new cellphone camera again. This tree stands by the path to the mall and I pass it all the time. Today, I realised that its low branches have been so weighted down by the rain that they are touching the ground.
L says that he's seen a guy stand under it in the evenings, practising on his trumpet.

I'm sorry, but seeing it's Singapore, it's got all the makings of a great ghost story. You know ... unrequited love of a jazz musician who haunts the spot where they first kissed. Please would you ask Les to verify whether or not the feet of the trumpet player touch the ground?
Given that this is Singapore (and especially as we're in an HDB estate) the real reason why trumpet guy has to practise in a field, under a tree for shade, is that his neighbours (and probably also his own true love) won't let him practise at home.
